A discussion on: The future of VoIP in this world.
If we have a minute to think, we will come to know that how effectively VOIP came at surface along passage of time and it will not be wrong if we call it as a game changer in telephonic technology. As VOIP Is changing the way of communication as people use to do in the past, which is now replaced with more updated technology. Although its took over a century as people are using PSTN technology and are very much use to of using it, but now with update in technology and completely turn around technology, people are getting towards it in numbers on daily basis, as users are in billions now.
In simple words VOIP is a technology which helps people to communicate others over internet, which is not only more advance but also cost saving. Hundreds of software and options are already available for the users and each software is providing better and better options for the satisfaction of users.
VOIP and its future:
As we go back in past it can be realized that in 90s there was no specific platform was available for people to communicate each other over similar network but as VOIP came at surface in swell manner it demolished all the obstacles and brought all the networks at same ground.
By coming towards the future of technology it will be very much early to call something efficient in future as we are having it today. As in today’s world there will hardly a person who is unaware of VOIP’s existence, as people at organizational level, individual level or can also be said that at national level, people are making full use of it. But in future VOIP is required to update it along with the requirement and desire of users.
- Although 5G technology will also boost up the ability of VOIP in future but regular feedback and awareness of mindset of users will play in important role.
- Whereas on other hand there is a crucial matter of security, as it is not that much safe as compared to traditional telephony, so people needed to be more careful and must be sure that their system is protected by an effective firewall.
- Although people are getting familiar with VOIP technology and enjoying its services but still there are majority of areas where availability of high-speed internet is not easily accessible. And it will take some time to have access in those areas but once it will get their roots done then people will surely replace their old-style services with VOIP.

Although VOIP required to improve itself and upgrade along with the passage of time but one thing is for sure that in near future organizations and individuals are going to get over a specific platform to buildup strong connections and workflow, which will enhance the importance of VOIP.
